2016 Villa Trasqua Chianti Classico
From Castelllina in Chianti this wine is a blend of 80 % Sangiovese, 10% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Nose begins with floral hints of violet and fruity of ripe cherry and raspberry followed by notes of sweet spices, such as vanilla and liquorice. Aged for a minimum of 12 months in large Slavonian oak barrels.
2016 Tenute Sivlio Nardi Rosso Di Montalcino
From Montalcino, this100% Sangiovese has an assertive aroma with hints of ripe red fruit alongside a nice spicy component. It's warm, soft and full on the palate, firmly structured with a strong but velvety, non-aggressive presence of tannins and good length.
2016 Castello di Querceto Il Picchio Chianti Classico Gran Selezione
From Montalcino, this wine is 95% Sangiovese and 5% Canaiolo e Colorino. It's intense ruby red with floral and chocolate aromas and elegant herb notes. Remarkable body with lots of character and a long and persistent finish.
